Pine Bay Member Pool Contact Information
TBD for 2025
- Schedule – The pool opens for the season Memorial Day weekend and closes for the season Sunday the weekend of the annual Homeowners meeting in September.
- Access – The pool is accessible with an electronic fob. The pool door is not to be propped open – doing so defeats the purpose of restricting pool usage to residents and guests. The door closes automatically, so please do not slam the door shut as this may damage the lock mechanism requiring costly repair.
- Pool Fob – Every property owner is automatically issued two fobs at no charge. Lost or additional fobs can be obtained by contacting the Pool Committee Chairperson. There will be a charge for these additional fobs to cover Association costs. Owners who sell their properties should return their fobs to the Chairperson, and new owners contact same for their fobs.
- Water Quality – A professional pool service is contracted for pool maintenance, including regularly skimming & vacuuming debris, cleaning the filters and maintaining chemical water treatment. Should a problem with water quality be found that requires pool closure for correction, the pool will be temporarily closed without notice until proper water quality is restored.
- Lifeguard – Pine Bay’s pool does not have a lifeguard or attendant. All users of the pool accept personal responsibility for their own and their children’s safety and use the pool at their own risk.
- Problem Reporting – Any complaints, problems or suspicious activity should be reported to the Chairperson for follow-up and action.
After Hours – Anyone observed using the pool after hours will be asked to leave. If they are non-compliant, law enforcement will be called.
Pine Bay Pool Rules and Conditions
We ask that everyone who uses the pool observe the rules and not be reluctant to ask others to do the same. Pine Bay’s Pool Rules and Conditions not only are common sense and courtesy but are also part of our insurance requirements for the pool.
- Members and guests only – trespassers may be prosecuted
- Children under 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult
- Shower before entering the pool – oils and sand that enters the pool will clog the filter system
- No diving, no wrestling, no running, no pushing – in short no horseplay
- No loud radios
- No glass containers
- No alcoholic beverages
- Food may be consumed at the tables or lounge chairs, and you must clean up
- No smoking inside the pool area
- No pets in the pool or within the pool fence
- No large rafts or floats – personal flotation devices such as swimmies and noodles and small toys are acceptable
- No babies in diapers are permitted in the pool – swim diapers or rubber pants must be used
- Non-swimmers are to wear personal flotation devices
- Persons with infectious conditions are prohibited from using the pool
- There is no lifeguard — the pool is used at your own risk
- The pool closes at 8pm (or earlier if the sun has set)
Additionally, community volunteers rearrange the furniture and perform minor clean-up in the pool area every evening when the pool is closed. We ask that you do your part as well. When you leave a table area, please replace the chairs, lower the umbrella, and clean up any food that is on the table or on the pool deck area around the table. A broom, dustpan and paper towels are located at the bathroom area, and a trash can is also located in the same area. Please replace all chairs in their proper position.
Your cooperation is vital for maximizing everyone’s enjoyment of this valued and popular community amenity and we thank you for your efforts.
